Identify your TV and keep a way back
Record the exact model and operating system in Settings → About. Read the upstream record for your exact TV and review the recovery workflow. Do not apply another model’s package list blindly.
Prepare your local connection
Put the computer and TV on the same trusted Wi-Fi. On the TV, open Settings → Device Preferences → About (or the equivalent), select Build seven times, then open Developer options. Enable USB debugging and network/ADB debugging if available. Menus vary by firmware.
Get the project and original prompt
Download the pinned source ZIP and setup prompt from the download centre. Extract the source into a local folder. Open that folder in a coding assistant with shell access and give it the upstream prompt, filling in your exact model. Windows, macOS and Linux need the applicable platform tools; let the upstream instructions determine setup.
Authorize the connection and review changes
Verify the computer’s connection request on the TV. The upstream flow backs up packages and settings, identifies device-specific candidates, and asks what you want to preserve. Read that list before allowing changes. Avoid disabling a stock launcher before a replacement is installed and working.
Install, check and retain your backup
Follow the upstream build-and-install process for the launcher. Then check Home, the remote, HDMI, networking and the apps you use. Save your own device backup and restore instructions. This website does not run ADB or connect to your television.
